Platelet-activating factor (PAF, 1-O-alkyl-2-acetyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine) is a
biologically active phospholipid mediator. Although PAF was initially recognized for its
potential to induce platelet aggregation and secretion, intense investigations have
